Esethu Consulting Services (ECS) is a boutique consultancy firm that provides end-to-end Corporate Affairs solutions to clients. Keeping up with our name, which means, “it is ours” in isiZulu, we believes in a partnership approach where we empower our clients to take full ownership of solutions we provide. We are 100% black-owned, thus making us a Level 1 BBBEE contributor. We operate across the country and have formed strategic partnerships to source expertise as and when required.

Our Team

Muzi Chonco (Managing Director, Principal Consultant

Muzi is highly experienced corporate affairs practitioner, with over 19 years of relevant experience in the field. He gained valuable exposure working with blue-chip local and international corporates such as ABInBev, SABMiller, Oceana Group, Marsh International, Tiger Brands, Phillip Morris, Illovo SA, Tongaat Hullet, to mention a few. Muzi has also spent a number of years working in public service, where he gained an appreciation for regulatory and policy development as well navigating political environment.  
He is also passionate about corporate governance; as such, he has served as a Board member and trustee for a number of organizations, such as SAB Provident Fund, National Business Initiative and SABCOHA and Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority.

He graduated with a Bsc (Hons) in Hydrogeology from the University of the Western Cape, Post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from GIBS, also attended SABMiller’s prestigious Corporate Affairs Leadership Development Programme through the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School.
